Jeremy and I leave for tour in 3 days!

About a year and a half ago Tom and I started hanging out a lot because we discovered we lived close to each other and because we had all the snacks at our house. We talked about starting a band, and after playing music together in the attic of the Magill brothers empty farm house briefly through the winter of 2010, we never did, due to the lack of a warm place to practice. That summer while traveling I wrote a bunch of demos that I sent to Tom and we decided that we would record them as a full band under the name Heat Shy when I got home. We asked Jeremy to help out and over the course of 2 weeks in September we recorded 13 songs in the solitude of the lonely house on the Magill family property.
Mixing and mastering is almost complete and we hope to release the record sometime in mid 2012.
In the mean time Jeremy and I are planning an acoustic tour in February. The tentative dates are as follows:
Feb 12th - Lancaster, PA
Feb 13th - Baltimore, MD
Feb 14th - Washington, DC
Feb 15th - Richmond, VA
Feb 16th - Rock Hill, SC
Feb 17th - Greenville, SC
Feb 18th - Asheville, NC
Feb 19th - Lexington, KY
Feb 20th - Bloomington, IN
Feb 21st - Cincinnati/Columbus, OH
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You can download 4 acoustic songs recorded live at The Farm House in Springfield, Illinois on 8/21/2011 for free on our bandcamp. We will also be releasing them on a very limited number of cassettes for the February tour.
We’re excited to finally get things moving, more updates soon!
